A beautifully framed, original 17th century botanical Iris flower engraving circa 1614-16. This plate is from Crispijn Van De Passes's Hortus Floridus - a botanical compendium of flowers catalogued by season. 

This engraving is also hand-coloured possibly by a later artist.
